How You Will Contribute Factory Operations:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Operations Executive for planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to execute daily production plan with reduced change over time.
  • Removing waste and constraints from the production processes to improve efficiencies/effectiveness and enhance productivity by encouraging and promoting a continuous improvement environment.
  • Engineer and reverse engineer internal processes with attention to detail.
  • OPEX and CAPEX planning and feasibility.
Demand Planning:
  • Develop a demand plan based on business trends and demand patterns.
  • Incorporate special scenarios of SKUs that would need specific attention and actively adjust demand forecast logic according to demand shifts.
  • Plan, procure and implement comprehensive sourcing of direct materials (raw and packaging) for timely and cost-effective availability to meet the production requirements.
  • Help and lead Operations Executive to carryout month-wise costing of raw and packing material for all SKUs to prepare budgets.
  • Lead the team for the induction of at least 3 local vendors for raw & packaging material.
  • Evaluate price increase demand of various suppliers on the basis of component costing or competitive prices; carryout cost analysis on the basis of cost drivers, negotiate, prepare proposal and obtain approval.
  • Keep track of international price trends and technologies for major direct raw materials.
  • Optimizing procurement of inventory by improving vendor relationships, performance, and lead times and implementing continuous improvement in procurement techniques.
  • Create procurement strategies and procedures for importable materials.
Warehouse Management:
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, inventory management, outbound processes, and delivery.
  • Supervise the Inventory Management Executive to create purchase requisition before hitting the safety levels.
  • Planning, capacity provision and the safe execution of the logistics processes.
  • Lead the execution and audit of the physical stock counts.
Fulfillment Management:
  • Ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled by the Fulfillment Executive and make sure no order is pending without a justification.
  • Set up and roll-out of process compliance for fulfillment operations to drive efficiency.
  • Building and managing key strategic relationships with logistics providers (PostEx, Trax, Rider, Call Courier & TCS).
  • Identify and resolve gaps in processes, optimizing lead times, cost efficiencies, and potential scale pitfalls.
  • Partner with a customer service representative to understand consumer pain points and work on initiatives to improve customer experience.
Customer Service & Logistics:
  • Create a daily dispatch plan and ensure its execution.
  • Ensure that the Operation Executive taking regular follow-up on distributor's orders management, payments and queries.
  • Building and managing key strategic relationships with key account distributors (Minhaj, Sigma & Islamia) and direct accounts to resolve their issues.
  • Provide supervision to Operation Executive on 3PL coordination.
  • Implementation of improvements in the logistics processes (storage, inbound, outbound).
  • Lead scheduled monthly meetings with 3PL to review KPIs and resolve issues that may arise.

Bachelors or Masters degree


6-8 years of experience of running operations at FMCG.
